Distribution Capabilities
SG Convenience has one of the largest national delivery footprints in South Africa, serviced by 7 Distribution Centres located in Cape Town, George, Port Elizabeth, Durban, Bloemfontein, Johannesburg and Nelspruit. We procure, warehouse and distribute a wide variety of brands ranging from frozen, chilled and ambient suppliers. All warehouses cater for units, cases, layers and full pallet receipts, storage and picking of products. Diversity in range of product covers forecourts, PFM, HORECA, general liquor, together with restaurants and fast food outlets. Our national distribution fleet consists of over 150 multi temp vehicles which have flexible freezer compartments, which cater for customer flexibility. Our in-house Super Group IT Department have developed bespoke sales ordering platforms, warehouse management tools, order tracing, vehicle tracking and E-POD Business Intelligence systems. Our warehouses operate the latest materials handling equipment ensuring high productivity and up time. We have in excess of 1400 Frozen Pallet Locations, 20 000 racked pallet positions and hold inventory exceeding R240 million at any given time.
